What funny things did you do as a child?

I had a boss who I really despised (later found out that she would steal from my till and accuse me of doing it...she actually got caught doing that, but not by anyone who mattered...ugh)

The sad thing is that we had been friends and then I lived in a spare room with her and her husb for a few months, and discovered a lot of domestic violence. I moved out, which pissed them off (loss of income/fear of me "telling people," I guess...?)

So, when she just kept bitching at me at work, I went to a sporting goods store and got skunk piss...a liquid that hides the scent of hunters in the woods. I poured the whole bottle into the radiator(?) (IDK...grill thing on the outside) and also into the vents on the inside.

For MONTHS, she would come to work and wonder why her car smelled so bad. She and hubby cleaned it out and took it to the car wash constantly, trying to figure out why it stunk so bad
****Edited to add: this was when I was 18/19

When I was in my late 20's, I went to New Orleans and drove across the Lake Pontchartrain on a type of "road trip" vaca.

I sent a postcard of that bridge to that brother of mine....like, "I know you enjoy bridges" or some such thing...

When I was about 14, my family was on a vacation in California.

We were going to drive across the bridge to an island. Before we left, my mom asked everyone if they needed to go pee.

Half way across the bridge, my little brother (age 6 or 7 at the time), said he had to go pee.

I tickled him.

if god were real i'd murder him.

Why are you so angry at a God who you believe to not be real. Seems like you are angry with your own imagination (of God)

Ear Piercing Question!

Incidentally, I went to the doc YEARS later....like 14 years after I let all those piercings close...just saying that because that's how long there were issues

Ear Piercing Question!

All of my piercings were done with a gun. Now when my daughter gets piercings, I make her go to a body shop and get it done with a hollow needle. She will have less issues with it.

I actually had piercings up and down my ears, from lobe (I still have 3 per lobe) up to the top.

In the cartilage area, all of my piercings would constantly hurt and get infected. They were a mess all the time. When I had a couple babies, I no longer had the time to take care of them, so I let them close.

The real kicker is that even after they were closed, they continued to get infected. It was awful and painful. I finally went to a doctor about it, and he actually lasered my ears down to get "below the infection area" and then I had weeks of cleaning and caring for the ears. That would never have happened with a hollow needle....

Are you intimidated by intelligent people?

There are "multiple intelligences," as well. Courtesy of Gardner.

Those are playing more and more of a part in society today, where things are different than the old status quo

I do think that many of those things now have just as much value as the standard IQ test.

My dad was sort of a "dumb jock." Yet when my daughter's oxygen tank broke on Easter Sunday in a small town with no where to really go and get it fixed, he fixed it. Nobody else, with their advanced degrees, could figure out what to do.... (just one example)

My friend might be like that: keeping score in her head; always bored, etc. She seems like she gets stressed out a lot

Maybe it's me.

It's not you
