Nah, sorry, soco, I don't agree with that.. She is a parent and it is her house, but Nix is not a child anymore! And they live together so there should be some mutual acceptance and compromises..

My mother is very much like Nix's so I can symphatize. Luckily for me I live over thousand miles from mine now.

I really hope and pray that the puppy will touch your mom's heart and bring her some light and love rather than hell. All the best xx

Hi, i'm sorry you are having to deal with all these issues :( But the good thing is you recognize what the problems are and are trying to deal with them.. Well done!

Many say that I have the lowest self esteem they have ever encountered, and overeating is my thing, too. So for this reason and because i'm a 'God person' and my view is that God-esteem is more needed than self-esteem, I will not be giving you any advice on building self esteem.

Because I am poetically illiterate, can't comment on your poem, Eddieee.

But my 'ocd' went over the roof when I spotted a missing full stop at the end of your poem.. I hope it does have some kind of special meaning like that, otherwise I will not cope with it. ;)

Every time I stand up life seems to shove me back down.

Well, don't despair, music=life. There are folks who need short term lets. I was finding it difficult to find one, so I think there is a chance that you will find someone.

Although, you might need to advertise at online listings for short term let, or newspaper ads.

Btw, your post is kind of helping me as I am deciding right now what kind of accommodation I will go for, and one of the options was to take a bit bigger house and buddy up with one another person. After reading your post, I am a bit more careful to take on the house. But I will have to lose all of my furtniture and most things if I take just one bedroom. :(
