Anyone remember the longest post ever?

I believe that was the closing date of Help, yep. ๐Ÿ™ HTG didnโ€™t store any of the original times for some reason, which is a big loss.
Luckily they kept the incrementing ids, which gives us a way to at least retain the order of posts/replies.

The increase in time may also be the different server. CBS had a big powerful server. Compared to this one there is a BIG difference.

Only 600 replies away! Which seems like a ton, but I guess relatively it wasnโ€™t much.

Good luck. ๐Ÿ˜„
Iโ€™ve done what I can to move most of the work server-side, but your computer still has to download and display the file, which can be tough. ๐Ÿ˜…

Iโ€™m pretty sure Yeti is not NoFace... But I might be wrong. Admin tools donโ€™t work on the Archives because the only information that was stored was the stuff thatโ€™s visible, so no account info or anything like that. ๐Ÿ˜„

I think I was on the post for a bit too. ๐Ÿ˜„
I definitely wasnโ€™t a major contributor or anything. Itโ€™s pretty cool though!
Iโ€™ve got it on my todo list to optimize huge posts so that theyโ€™re more computer friendly. Itโ€™ll happen eventually. ๐Ÿ˜…

@DocteurRalph - Itโ€™s part of the Help Archives. The link to the post is here:

https://archive.help-qa.com/posts/302329-the-po...

Warning: The page is HUGE and will take a few minutes to load on your computer should you attempt to open it.

There is a possibility that the order of the replies got messed up in the conversion back and forth, but I think it should be accurate.

And hey! Welcome to Utah, @HastaIguanaPianoman ๐Ÿ˜„
Sorry the snow has been kind of disappointing lately. ๐Ÿ˜ž Has made for a good season on the bike though. Havenโ€™t used my car in 3 years. ๐Ÿ˜…

Anxiety to the point of getting sick.

My advice: Stop worrying. (I know. Easier said than done.)

Things out of your control are just that- out of your control. They are going to happen regardless of what you do, so worrying is only going to make your life more difficult for no reason.

As far as work- it sounds like you've got a bit of imposter syndrome (let's be honest, everybody does) are you new at the job? Chances are, they know that. And you're getting better and better? What reason do they have of firing you? None? Thought so. Get those thoughts out of your mind and continue doing what you're doing, because it sounds like you're doing great.

If your fiancรฉ is marrying you, chances are he likes you. You're already the "good wife" that he wants. Again, another case where it seems like you're worried that you aren't good enough, but if you weren't good enough- you wouldn't be where you are. You got to the point you're at. You did all of this. Good job. ๐Ÿ˜Š You deserve it. You've worked hard to get to this point, don't let anybody (especially not yourself) take this down.

Pulled those links off. Don't want anybody clicking on those in case they're viruses of any sort- which they likely are.

It's a spam bot/account. I think it's trying to advertise an adult dating site.

๐Ÿค” I feel like posts shouldn't auto-parse links. It's not consistent with the replies, and since videos and images auto-parse anyway, I think it would feel a lot cleaner if it was consistent across the board and didn't surprise you with those.

If you want to befriend someone of the opposite gender and don't want to seem "interested", how?

And like @soco said- there comes a point where this is outside of your control and people will think and feel however they may. But you need to be straightforward and honest with them. If it ever starts to seem like more, itโ€™s best to nip it at the bud and clear the air. Be honest and let them know what you are interested in.
