If you want to befriend someone of the opposite gender and don't want to seem "interested", how?

Ask them to hang out in groups with other people (at least to start) and do group/hang out stuff- not date stuff.

Play games instead of watching movies, do sporty activities rather than going to a restaurant, etc.

Have people forgotten how to respectfully disagree?

Seems like it most of the time, doesnโ€™t it?

* sad *

Why are you sad?

Feeling emotional.

I'm glad you rationalized the choice. Good call there.

What's something you can do to pass time that's relatively stabilizing? Something to keep you occupied that doesn't really upset you or get you riled up in any way?

Logo Design?

I like the art but not the font or color. I'm not good at editing, but I was thinking if the drawing was split horizontally and separated leaving a white space. Then have the full company name centered in the white space.

That's cool, but so complex! O.o
Logos are usually super simple- you're supposed to be able to glance at it and redraw with fairly good accuracy. ๐Ÿ˜„

Like here! Orange background, white "H". Given that- many many logos these days are just the letter of their company as a "company color" or with the background being that color and the text contrasted on top of it. Not sure if that's too simple for your company's taste, but just MJM on a backsplash? Maybe a horizontal line in the background to make it pop a little more?

What is your favorite planet?

I like Pluto. Lots of reasons why. But it is and always will be a planet in my book. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We'll get there. It takes time.

So far- I've known it to be essentially a theoretical (probably wrong word there- I mean "not highly used/respected outside of certain browsers/apps/engines/etc") measure of how well you're doing SEO-wise rather than being a replacement.

From what I've read it doesn't seem to be the most accurate thing in the world, but I haven't followed up with it much as of late.

I think you mean "ad hoc"? Marginal, obscure, niche?

I think ad hoc covers it. Anyway- I'm sure our score here is quite low, as a big part of SEO is incoming and outgoing traffic of which we have very little/none currently.

The trouble with word and mouth is people want this to be there โ€œsecret placeโ€ so for some itโ€™s a bad idea.
People already know me and how involved I am on this site, so it does not bother me.
I will be telling others. If they come then win win. If not then at least Iโ€™ve tried.

Yep, this is definitely my safe place. Plus I have no friends to tell.

I was going to advertise this place years ago but then someone said not to due to it being โ€œthe only place they felt safeโ€
Sad really how so many secrets have to be kept in the first place.๐Ÿ˜•

I definitely understand the secrets thing- but that's what an alias and/or anonymous is for. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Still. Some people prefer to have a safe place, and that's okay. The chances of you inviting somebody and that person being someone that another member knows in real life is very slim though. I think let others worry about themselves and make their own decisions, and you do the same. ๐Ÿ™‚

The best way to increase SEO (How high it shows up in Google's Search results) is actually just by using the site! The more visitors, both recurring and new, that we have- the more Google helps other people find us. Posting and replying both help increase our standing in Google since it makes us more "popular" so Google (and other search engines) help users to find us because they see that we are useful.

I've recently read about domain authority ranking, what's your opinion on that one?

Putting Ads on Google would also bring a lot, but they cost money and currently this site is a pure negative. (Although not TOO bad.)
