How do we keep this one?

The best way to increase SEO (How high it shows up in Google's Search results) is actually just by using the site! The more visitors, both recurring and new, that we have- the more Google helps other people find us. Posting and replying both help increase our standing in Google since it makes us more "popular" so Google (and other search engines) help users to find us because they see that we are useful.

Have you changed since help closed years ago?

I've changed a lot. Mostly for the better.

I used to read. A LOT. Like a full novel a day. Now I haven't read a book in years. I can tell that my grammatical abilities have dropped because of it. I'm not as good as putting things to words as I used to be, either.
I used to be much more athletic. Now my injuries keep me pretty grounded.

I used to be anti-social. I still prefer solitude, but I have friends and I get out now and then.

I used to have no direction, be depressed, clingy, etc. I worked as a low-paid coach for children without much potential to move up.
Now I'm a homeowner, happy with life, know what I'm doing and have a "plan" for my life.

I used to be mentally unstable. These days I've got a pretty good hold of myself. ๐Ÿ™‚

I also used to be a PC guy and now I only use Apple. (It's better for coding, hands down.)

First grey hair age 26

None yet. ๐Ÿ˜„
But I don't really check to be honest. I don't look in the mirror too often, never mind pluck hairs to see if they're grey. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyone remember the longest post ever?

For the record- "The Post of Legends" was a competition to see who the very last poster would be.
The beginning of the post was basically discussing "when" the competition ended, if it was the last reply. No consensus was ever reached.

However, I don't think I'll have much resistance when I say the closing of the original Help is a good "end" to the post, so I'd like to announce the winner. ๐Ÿ˜„

The Post of Legends had a grand total of 6,166 replies. The winner is none other than the author of this post: @HastaIguanaPianoman

Are Meyers-Briggs types supposed to be permanent?

Compared to all of the things life holds- weโ€™re alive for far too short a time to do everything. ๐Ÿ˜ž

However- we DO have time to give just about everything that we want may a solid try. So start experimenting. If Engineering is an interest, start focusing more on that area. Narrow it down until youโ€™ve found something you really enjoy and then broaden your knowledge about that topic. ๐Ÿ™‚

Absolutely not. And not all engineers (or any other career) are one type or another. There might be stronger tendencies, but no requirements. Do what your heart desires and work hard to get there. ๐Ÿ˜„

No- people change over time. It also depends on your mood when taking the test- if youโ€™re stressed or in a rush you may answer differently than if you were calm and collected.

Does anyone know what happens if you eat small amounts of uncooked wild bamboo?

Just looking around, it seems that the worst that can happen is usually just food poisoning- so you may have an upset stomach for a chunk of tomorrow. If youโ€™re concerned, try calling a non-emergent Health clinic and checking with them- as until reading your post I had no idea that raw bamboo was toxic at all- so Iโ€™m not exactly the best source. ๐Ÿ˜„

The things I enjoy most, that I define myself by, are contradictory.

You should always be you!

Honestly- Iโ€™m also basically a different person depending on who Iโ€™m around. That doesnโ€™t mean Iโ€™m a not me anymore. Just โ€œnot rocking the bridgeโ€. Being myself, just the part of myself that assimilates well with the current group/individuals that are present at the time.
