I'm doing really badly.

It's never too late. Even when you're 80 and stuck in a wheel chair, it's not "too late".
You can still learn new things, accomplish something you've never done before.
You can still do something to make somebody else happy.
You can still do something to make YOURSELF happy.
You can still fall in love.
You can still find purpose.
You can still change your entire life's track and do something entirely different.

In this life, there are so many possibilities of things we can do and things we'll never do that it's never "too late" for anything.

Do you enjoy any tv shows? Start a new show that you've never seen before! (I recommend something in the lighter heart to keep the attitude up) Books? Read a new book!
What does it for me is learning. When I'm feeling down I find something interesting to study. Numberphile on YouTube has some great stuff. And their videos will chain to other good ones. Listen to some fast paced, but good attitude music. That always keeps things moving. ๐Ÿ˜

This gender neutral initiative is confusing.

It seems that this post, as well as 1 or 2 others, somehow got added to some bot network. The replies are all pretty identical, so I'm assuming the bots aren't crawling the site- they just found a single url at one point and save that then keep coming back. ๐Ÿ˜›

Im going to be updating it so that if a reply is immediately marked as spam, it doesn't notify everybody on the post. ๐Ÿ˜“

Helpbot,

He must be shy!
(No really- I have no idea why he didnโ€™t come here.)

There was another shooting at a high-school this morning.WTF?!!

I'm glad he was there. Poor guy though- that's going to be rough on him. I don't care how bad they are, shooting a kid is hard on a person. Especially somebody that is in the job of protecting kids. Overall, he did a good thing and likely saved a number of people. But still.

Hadn't heard about that. Never fun to hear about these things. I wish the world could just be in piece.

Cat question.

@Nevermind is good with cats- she may have some insight.

I would say no- I've played with cats in that manner before and they seem to enjoy it. ๐Ÿ˜„

should men go for women they want or women who come around?

I think everybody should "go for" who they want. It's not a good idea to "settle".

That said, and not trying to offend anybody- standards need to be adjusted at times. If you're not a nice, kind, open-minded, flexible person who's willing to put forth significant effort and go out of your way to please your partner, then you can't really expect somebody that has those qualities to be into you if you're mean and selfish no matter how much you "want" somebody like that.

So go for who you want, but remember you need to be who they want as well. It's not a 1 sided thing.

Michael is the kind of guy you love to hate.

Jealousy, obviously. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Being positive/happy doesn't mean you do reckless things, just enjoy life regardless of circumstances.

You're very welcome!

I do my best to live life this same way, although I'll admit I'm not quite as disciplined as Michael.

I've saved this for many years and always think back to it each time somebody gets annoyed with me for always having a positive outlook on life. ๐Ÿ˜‰
