Eat before you go. Eat while you're there. Pay careful attention to how he interacts with the waitress/waiter. It will tell you a lot more than he will.
Oh, and enjoy yourself. You deserve this time to have some fun.

eating is something i can do! i plan to have something when i finish work to eat so the booze doesnt go straight to my head hehe. and i think we'll get a nibble platter or something while we are there rather than an actual meal as its cocktail bar we're going to

I liked Dave. What happened to him? He had a laptop that would blow up if you put the password in wrong too many times.

Wait a minute don't I remember you just telling me you had a fight and broke up with a guy a couple of days ago? I know I didn't comment but yeah I saw that. Where did this 5 year deal come in? If you are in a relationship it doesn't count? So this is the first NEW guy in 5 years? I'm confused. I hope you didn't just break up with your boyfriend or husband whoever it was so we'd have something to talk about. lol Well then again...

And no its not my first date in 5 years but my first date with someone that wasnt a boyfriend in 5years that i havent met properly yet! Indeed a blind date! I have gone and got a lovely new dress which is just above the knee and doesnt show off much on top but its got a bit of lace on it for a flirty aspect which should be good!

Do you think stay at home moms are lazy?

i mean it depends...if youre a very hands on parent and the other parents is largely out of the house working etc then no as taking care of children is alot of work! If the kids are at nursery all day or you have some kind of caretaker for them then i dont know if lazy is the right word but other things could be done with your time. i now people who have 4 kids and still work and others who have 1 and stay at home. think at the end of the day it just depends on your parenting style and what suits you best!

Vampy don't you have some kind of drama with a guy going on? That's very unlike you. I keep expecting a really long post about some abusive, abrasive boyfriend of yours or something. Let's get the ball rolling. ha ha

gawd yes thankfully its over now! Though everything kicked off in a big way on Friday and theres a nice dent and chip in one of my walls and my wrist is bruised. but he's gone and moved over an hour away with his dad so all is well again. all kicked off over me having fallen asleep early as we'd been up til sily oclock every night last week talking things through and i hit the tiredness wall. he tried to eat a load of my presceiption painkillers (for my back...i may be young in years but my backs worse than my 70yo fathers) folowed by half a bottle of JD. it was much more dramatic than i ever wish to get involved with again and i can now say that i have had a psycho ex...
