Yes, we are each to protect our home/world. Thing is, what is going on here is more self preservation then actually creating/helping our community. It's as if every person is a threat.

a penny for thought.. i think we presume to accept that humor cures our spiritual ailments, when in fact in my very humble opinion it only lasts for so long. .. Fern is right .. we're a help site.. we should be more concerned and have more heart to heart than joke to joke.

Yet, insistence doesn't make it any more real than "wishful thinking," (or so, I would think.)

A vast majority who are here are from the original Help. We all know each other (and have for many years).

I think there is a mix of happy and sad, humor and frankness - sometimes a jab in the ribs and the wink of an eye....

Sometimes help hurts. Most times actually. It's a dirty business but someone has to tell you to get your ****shit together, whether that means losing 40 pounds or getting off the dope or just to keep your legs together every once in a while. Yeah I'm talking to you soco... lol
