Already failed.

Was intending on drinking less, but given Scotch is a great stress reliever I think I've consumed more of it this past week than in the 3 months before.

New years resolutions are rubbish to begin with however.

I'm going to drink less. I'm doing a pretty good job, haven't been drunk all year. I'm going to lose some more weight too. I'm on the third year of a diet and I went from 235 down to 175 for a minute and now back up to 190. I haven't been over 200 in a year so really I'm extremely happy about the weight loss so far. I need to work out more though, I've been lifting weights for quite a while now because when I was 175 I looked horrible and I wanted to put some weight on but not around my belly..

So yeah I'm keeping my resolutions, but it's because I don't ever try to do anything extreme. I couldn't just quit drinking and I'm not on some fad diet where I lose 20 pounds in a month. I just eat a little less and exercise more and suddenly none of my pants fit! Waist size is down to 33 after having to squeeze into 36's two years ago.

Congratulations on the weight loss. I myself lost interest in drinking when i couldn't get a beer buzz from it anymore. It just stopped working.

Didn't make one and haven't in years.

I have to be ready physically, socially, economically, with the time necessary available, and psychologically.... to make changes. And that readiness doesn't fall on one day of the year....

Congrats on the weight loss. Exercise is the key.

My resolution is to help more people than I did the year prior. Simple to make. Not so simple to keep.

I didnโ€™t officially make one, but cutting out carbs/sugar, exercising more, and quitting smoking are mine.

I havenโ€™t smoked in days or eaten anything with sugar and kept my carbs under 20G a day. I feel ok.

My only New Years resolution (every year) is to make NO New Years resolutions...They are only going to get broken, in my case. I have very little willpower...So, I just try every day to do my best that I can do. Hmm...I think that I just made my resolution! Be the best I can be....^_^

Get a room you two.. lol.

Exercise really isn't the key to losing weight. Eating less is a whole lot easier. To burn 500 calories you would have to play volleyball for an hour and 45 minutes inside a gym or 50 minutes in the sand. You would have to run for 42 minutes to burn 500 calories. One Big Mac is 563 calories... so yeah you can either eat one less burger or exercise for an hour. For me it's a no brainer.

Well, they are kinda like lottery tickets. You have zero chance of winning unless you buy one.
