Who thinks we need to do a Help Reunion...

Like really pick a place and all meet up, I think it would be amazing! Iโ€™ve met 2 helpers... lived (relationship) with 1 of those 2!

Always loved the idea!
But Iโ€™d definitely be one of the ones that just sits back and watches everybody else. Something tells me many of the Helpers would do the same. ๐Ÿ˜…

It would just be so hard to pick a spot good for everyone, too expensive for any of us to travel lol. It would be really fun though, there are a few people I would really love to meet. I bet all of our real interactions would be spookily like how we talk here and all our pals would be the same.

I am all for it! There are some things to think about. The timing needs to be not around a holiday so it is more likely to get the requested time off from employers. Would family be allowed to attend including children and pets? Would it include any activities and who would be responsible for collecting the monies to help cover costs? During the period of time we are together, who would be available to help on posts? If I travel 700 miles to meet everyone I don't want to spend a hour or two texting responses on my phone. If we have catering what about those with food allergies or prefer vegan?

Impressive, Jalex.

I've met 2 helpers and it was amazing. I've also met a couple others from online sites.

I vote Disney World. Everyone needs an excuse to go there ;)

jk. I know that would be pricey, but maybe it could be "tiered..." as in "do what parts of it you wanna do," but have times/places over a couple days' time period where we would have meeting spots....doesn't really have to be at Disney World.

If we decide on a place, everyone can decide on how much/how little they want to be involved, especially if we set it up for a 2-3 day stint to come and go as you please...in a hotel lobby...and from there, people can decide to go out to a restaurant together or to a bar together or to a room together.... :smirking_face: :sunglasses: :zippermouth_face:

On that note, seven years ago to this day was the first time I ever met a help.com person irl. It was me @ProffVampy Lizzy @Adam and Stewie, I forget his help username off hand. We went to Nandos.

i still hate nandos...bland sauce and dry chicken xD worst part of my university experience was everyones fascination with the damn stuff....I'll stick

Also to clear some things up...
Fact no. 1- I did not forget about this place while in a relationship... I was in my last relationship for 4.5 years and was a member again when it opened up.
Fact no. 2- I am back, however, not single.
Fact no. 3- I want to arrange a reunion so we all can meet since we all know each other. Yes, I lived with one because I was in a long term relationship with him and I met the second one while on vacation with my ex.
So you can be petty and rude, but honestly you donโ€™t even know what youโ€™re talking about! If you are who we think you are- Iโ€™m sorry you feel the need to interject such emotions of butthurtness. Iโ€™m here if you would like to talk about things like civil adults.
